Our approach, informed by 30 years of experience, focuses on the essence of successful teams: where psychological safety, inclusion, and engagement are abundant, albeit messy and imperfect, as humans often are. Using unique team-development processes, we draw upon world-class research and the finer elements of psychometrics to develop an approach that strikes the right balance between the ‘what’ and the ‘how’. Our gift is the ability to see things others do not, and to create a safe space for genuine conversations that are both engaging and impactful.
“Vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity, and change. We can have courage or comfort, but we cannot have both. I define connection as the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship. Daring greatly means the courage to be vulnerable. It means showing up and being seen. To ask for what you need. To talk about how you're feeling. To have the hard conversations. We don't have to be perfect —just engaged and committed to aligning our values with our actions. Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren't always comfortable, but they're never weakness”. - Brene Brown
“Hope is a verb with its sleeves rolled up.” - David Orr.
Rebuilding Teamwork in Times of Turbulent Change
A deep engagement with intact teams to understand gifts differing while unifying them around a process for understanding challenges and opportunities, and close with a clear roadmap into the future. Teams will learn a variety of group process techniques and tools, and apply them to their own teams. Examples include: Force Field Analysis, Weighted Prioritization, Affinity Diagramming, Team Operating Guidelines, and Action Planning.
This intensive team-building experience enables participants to apply an understanding of themselves, team roles, and team concepts in a variety of situations. The challenge of this workshop is to provide your team with the opportunity to “walk the talk” of teaming. This workshop, which utilizes a personality assessment indicator combined with team feedback sessions and work simulations, provides the arena for team leaders/coaches to apply new skills with their intact teams. Team Synergy is beneficial for teams that need to focus on building connections and community, facilitating team dialogue, and establishing team operating guidelines.
Recommended for intact and cross-functional work teams with prior training in team skills. Pre-requisite: Team Jumpstart and Team Fusion. Note: Team leader/coach must have completed Team Leader training
This team-building session is all about working together, getting to know each other better, sharing experiences, and having fun! Team Fusion is a series of dynamic group problem-solving activities that challenge your group to work cohesively to achieve success. We will customize the selected activities to fit the context of your organization and the theme of your meeting. Activities will have goals including time challenges, skill objectives, and scoring scenarios. An excellent event for bringing your team together!
This is the initial step toward effective teaming. It is beneficial for both struggling teams and newly formed teams that need to create awareness of themselves and their team, build connections through “forced interactions”, and accelerate the development of vulnerability-based trust.
Recommended for intact and cross-functional work teams.
